What we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle your information, including how we treat mobile numbers and texting consent.
01Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information Goose Funding, LLC collects when you use this website or submit a funding request, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to information collected through this site and through our communications with you.
02Information you give us
When you submit a form on this site, we collect the information you enter, which may include:
- Your name, business name, email address and phone number.
- The funding amount or monthly volume range you select.
- Any message, notes or documents you send us.
- Your consent choices, including whether you agreed to be contacted by SMS, email and phone, and when.
If your request moves forward, we may also collect supporting documents such as bank statements, business financials, identification and authorization forms.
03Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers may record technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit. This information is used to keep the site secure, understand how it is used and improve it.
04How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your request, prepare a quote and communicate with you about it.
- Review and underwrite an application, including verifying business and credit information where authorized.
- Provide updates on the status of your request and service your funding agreement.
- Send the text messages, calls and emails you agreed to receive.
- Detect and prevent fraud, comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
- Improve our website, products and service quality.
05SMS and mobile information
When you opt in to text messages, we collect and store your mobile number, the date and time of your consent, the consent language you agreed to, and the content and delivery records of the messages we send.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell or rent mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data. Mobile information is used only to communicate with you about your request and to operate our messaging program, including through messaging service providers that transmit messages on our behalf.
You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, and you can get help by replying HELP. Opting out of texts does not unsubscribe you from email or phone contact, and it does not cancel an application or a funding agreement. See our SMS terms for full program details.
08How we protect information
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive information such as account numbers by text message or email.
09How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as needed to evaluate and service your request, to maintain business and compliance records, and to resolve disputes. Text message consent and opt-out records are retained for as long as we operate a messaging program, plus any period required by law or by mobile carriers.
10Your choices and rights
You can control how we communicate with you and ask us about your information:
- Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
- Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or ask us to stop emailing you.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us not to contact you by phone about a request that is no longer active.
Requests can be made through our contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep records where the law requires it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, which we honor on request.
11Children's privacy
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12Third-party links
Our site may link to websites we do not operate. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to review them before providing information.
13Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal requirements change. The current version is always posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will make that clear on this page.
